2nd Quarter grades will be posted online by today, Thursday, January 5th.
If your child is absent, please let the office AND teacher know. Also, please keep your child at home if they are experiencing any of the following symptoms:
- Fever of 100 degrees or more.
- Persistent cough or severely runny nose unrelated to allergies.
- Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.
Please do not send your child back to school until they are symptom-free for 24 hours without medication.

BENEFIT BASKETBALL GAME
We would like to invite you to come join us as we support one of our own, the Schaefer Family (Ezra’s Army). The game will be held at Legends Rec Plex located at 808 State St. in Fulton at 6pm. KCA will be playing against CCA.
Friday, January 6th
- 12pm – 2:20pm Cheer Practice
- 4:30pm Co-Ed Basketball Game (KCA vs LPA) at Lighthouse Preparatory Academy located at 216 El Mercado Plaza in Jefferson City.
Monday, January 9th

Tuesday, January 10th
- 8:10am Chapel Service in the sanctuary. Chapel will be led by Victoria Fugaro (Alumna) and the KCA Student Council will open.
- Pay-by-day Hot Lunch money is due by 8:30am
- 4:15pm – 5:45pm Basketball Practice at Hams Prairie Church
- First Gun Raffle Drawing will be streamed live on Facebook at 2pm.

Please consider volunteering as a lunch helper next semester. If you are available to help on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 11:40am – 1:00pm, please let the office know.
We have received approval on installing a Gaga Ball Pit behind the church building for our students to use during recess and PE. If you would be willing and able to help us with funding, materials, and/or labor, please contact the office.
PARENT/STUDENT HANDBOOK UPDATE
The Board approved some more changes to the Parent / Student Handbook. You can now access this by clicking on the appropriate icon on the “Student” page of the website. Of special note, the dress code for shirts now permits KCA Logo T-Shirts in approved colors to be worn every day of the week“. That section now states:
“Acceptable colors are solid black, gray, red, navy, baby blue or white. Styles are polo-type pullover with collar (long or short sleeved), turtleneck (long or short sleeved), or plain collared blouse/shirt (long or short sleeved). Official KCA produced shirts with the KCA logo in the acceptable colors listed above are also permitted. Shirts should be tucked in, cover the midriff or stomach when hands are extended overhead, and cover the back when leaning over.”
