Please note, as stated in our Parent/Student Handbook, we make our decision independent of other schools. Therefore, we do not follow any public school district regarding cancellations.
If severe weather conditions require us to cancel school for all or part of a day, you will be informed by 6:30am via the following methods of communication:

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
WE NEED YOU!!!
Please consider volunteering as a lunch helper this semester. If you are available to help on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 11:40am – 1:00pm, please let the office know.
We have received approval on installing a Gaga Ball Pit behind the church building for our students to use during recess and PE. If you would be willing and able to help us with funding, materials, and/or labor, please contact the office.
PARENT/STUDENT HANDBOOK UPDATE
The Board approved some more changes to the Parent / Student Handbook. You can now access this by clicking on the appropriate icon on the “Student” page of the website. Of special note, the dress code for shirts now permits KCA Logo T-Shirts in approved colors to be worn every day of the week“. That section now states:
“Acceptable colors are solid black, gray, red, navy, baby blue or white. Styles are polo-type pullover with collar (long or short sleeved), turtleneck (long or short sleeved), or plain collared blouse/shirt (long or short sleeved). Official KCA produced shirts with the KCA logo in the acceptable colors listed above are also permitted. Shirts should be tucked in, cover the midriff or stomach when hands are extended overhead, and cover the back when leaning over.”
