Walkie Talkies are not doing well can we afford new ones? Jesse Pezold commented that new batteries were on the way to see if it would remedy the problem.

Parent Address

Mr kingsburry presented a lot of good information about tax incentive plans available to parents that can help to offset the cost of preschool tuition, after school programs and Friday enrichment.  He stated that these programs offered to many government employees and some private employers could be an asset for KCA to ease the cost of tuition. Mr. Kingsbury suggested that KCA update the receipts given so that they would be compliant with these programs and make it easier for parents to participate in these plans rather than the hand written ones currently utilized.

Mr. Kingsbury addressed the board concerning enrollment fees collected by FACTs. Mr. Kingsbury states that he believes that the fees were potentially illegally collected due to the fact that he was unaware he would have to pay the fee until after he signed up in facts and that this practice could leave KCA vulnerable to a lawsuit. After much discussion it was decided to offer to the parents if they felt the fees were wrongly collected KCA will reimburse them. Joe Fugaro took the action of drafting a letter to send to the parents.

The Meeting was adjourned at 8:30pm
